Mother And Son

Annabelle Lengronne stars in this French drama written and directed by Léonor Serraille. Rose (Lengronne) moves to France from the Ivory Coast with two of her young sons in the 1980s and, over the next 20 years, strives to work and raise the boys while searching for her own happiness. As they grow up, her sons Jean (Stéphane Bak) and Ernest (Kenzo Sambin/Ahmed Sylla) try to find their place in the world, whilst struggling with the legacy of their experiences as immigrants.
