Mario

Swiss gay drama in which two budding professional football players have their lives turned upside down when they realise their romantic feelings for each other. When Leon Saldo (Aaron Altaras) is signed in Mario (Max Hubacher)'s team, Mario is taken aback at Leon's talent and how much he enjoys being around him. When the two are given an apartment to share, it's not long before the close proximity causes his feelings to build.

When Mario discovers that Leon shares the same desires, the two enter into a secret romantic relationship. Their private lives are soon pushed into the public eye, however, and the two talented footballers must now decide between their professional careers and their love for each other.
