Get Some Sleep

Described as "funny, dark, and weird... but weird in a good way." Follow the escapades of Kim, the talkative elf, and his new friend N° 5, an android on the razor's edge of self-awareness. They traipse through a world of giant pig-men, adorable cats in jackets, and armies led by dogs on horseback. Shipwrecks and castles are the order of the day, as a slimy half-conscious creature from the sea creeps up cliff-sides, shadowing them with mysterious motives. This world is guided and controlled by an unseen power, a demigod who creates androids of various degrees of sophistication. Kim and 5 are surprised and alarmed to see the newest android with the ability to fly, and the ability to kill. What makes the story so compelling is the darkness, the shadow under which the controlling powers operate. Who are they, are they malignant or caring, and why have they created beings who are so hilarious in their daily banter? Get Some Sleep is a science fiction lover's tribute to Beckett's Waiting for Godot.
